Mrs. Moyer
Christine Moyer has been a teacher since 1988. In that time she has taught kindergarten, special education, fourth grade, and most recently elementary art. Her training is in fine arts education, moderate and severe special needs education, and elementary education. She has completed the Arts Directorship Program at Fitchburg State University which she hopes to use to benefit the art programs in the Medway School District.
Of all her teaching experiences, teaching art is her passion. In it she can reach every child and prove to them that they can do anything with a little guidance and some imagination. Helping children find their creative spark while allowing them to create in a non-judgemental enviornment is a source of joy. In the art studio, the focus is on adaptation and creativity. Students are taught that there are many solutions and each one has merit. Critical thinking continually develops through the creative process and prepares the students for their academic studies as confidence grows, different solutions are explored, and then applied.
